# Client portal

A portal link gives one client a private page with only what you choose to show.

## What it can show

Invoices, quotes, timesheets, contracts and files. You choose which, per client.

## Who makes the link

Only an owner or admin creates a link, in the app, under Client portal. Its secret is shown once. A member can read the list. Your assistant can list links, read what a link shows, change what it shows and for how long, and revoke it. It cannot create one.

## Rules

- There is one live link per client. A new link replaces the old one.
- You set how long the link stays valid.
- Revoking stops the link at once.
- Opening of the link is recorded in the matter's timeline where the client belongs to a matter.
